Process
I start very broadly, exploring any relevant ideas that come to my team or me. I'll then spend time whittling ideas down to their essence, and their universal human truth. Once settled on an idea, my dedication to the details ramps up to 100 as I begin to think through the brief, creative assets, distribution strategy, and business goals. I work across all teams, including leadership, production, design, creative, and customer experience, to align messaging and execution. I'm at my best when I'm orchestrating complex brand anthems, product-marketing campaigns, and meaningful brand partnerships. I believe in both the power and the art of storytelling.

I view my freelance work as a balance between passion and challenge. I work with businesses that I admire, and companies I believe I can help. I've produced launch campaigns for international automotive brands, built acquisition and retention email programs for sharing economy start-ups, and I've developed the strategy and art direction for fitness technology innovators. Brands I've worked with include Indeed, Volkswagen, Gensler, OMATA, Union Wine Co., Speedvagen, Pacific Overlander, and Mohinders.

Stitch Labs
Brand Marketing Manager
2019 – 2020
I told the Stitch Labs story through the lens of our customers, their achievements, and their challenges. I worked closely with all departments, including engineering, product, sales, customer success, and customer support. Additionally, I championed our partner marketing efforts to establish Stitch Labs as the hub of e-commerce content, a valuable resource to start-ups and legacy brands alike.
Taylor Stitch
Brand Manager
2016 – 2019
As the business leader responsible for our first ever sub-brand, I outlined a marketing strategy and product roadmap that would put us on the path to responsible manufacturing. I conducted extensive market research as well as materials research to ensure our product and messaging were aligned. I developed our brand messaging and positioning while also executing multi-touch e-commerce and performance marketing programs.
MINI USA
Product Specialist
2012–2015
I managed trade shows and special events. I ensured brand guidelines were not only being met but exceeded. That required training my team on the MINI brand identity, voice, tone, and language. MINI owners don't drive, they motor. Nor do they open the hood or trunk, but rather the boot and bonnet. I love events, and I've successfully implemented an events strategy in all of my roles. In my opinion, nothing beats a face to face human interaction; it's the purest form of a brand.
